On Wednesday 23 April, Havilah Legal in conjunction with Risk Facilitator hosted a complimentary seminar event in Brisbane.
The practical session, was divided into two sections, the first section led by Paul Chivers from Risk Facilitator, covered risk management, including its benefits, the key to effective risk management, why risk should be managed as well as the attributes of a quality risk manager.
The second section, facilitated by Bruce Havilah, considered the prevention, identification and control of fraud, the misuse of power and intimidation as well as audit risks and financial controls.
The seminar was well attended and we look forward to hosting similar events in the future in both our Perth and Brisbane locations.
